Apple HDTV?

This rumor has been circulating for years not ever since Apple introduced it’s “hobby” the AppleTV. It’s gone through a few changes over the past few years, now supports HDMI with 720p output. Consumers have been craving more, but Apple basically stated it’s not something they are looking to put a lot of item and effort into and called it a hobby. It now looks like Apple might be ready to take this hobby to the next level and come out with their own Apple HDTV.
As a big Apple fan, who recently got to use an newer AppleTV for about a week or so, I have to say it’s a great device and it screams for more. Using AirPlay, you can view your photos in a slideshow wirelessly on your HDTV and even set music to play in the background, view YouTube content and even access to NetFlix. You can even access your iTunes library using the Home Sharing feature. As a basic media center, it’s not bad for $100, but there is plenty of room for improvement. Hopefully the rumors are true and the next update version of the AppleTV will actually be a HDTV!
